Dr. Kevin Wieland, Psy.D., HSPP
Education and Training: Dr. Wieland Completed his Master of Arts and Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. He completed an internship in Fort Wayne and residency in Ohio.
Licensure: Dr. Wieland is licensed in the state of Indiana as a Psychologist and Health Service Provider.
Experience: He has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient facilities since 1990. Dr. Wieland has been in private practice since May, 2001.
Specialties: His specialties include treatment of Mood Disorders and Anxiety Disorders in children and adults, sexual abuse issues, spiritual counseling, treatment of eating disorders and teen struggles. Psychotherapy is provided from a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Dynamic, Family Systems, Reality Therapy and Relational approaches.

Licensure: He is fulfilling requirements for Licensure in the state of Indiana as a Mental Health Counselor.
Experience: He has been working with youth, adolescents, and families through social work since 2006. He has completed over 500 direct hours of mental health counseling as an intern counseling. Lastly, he has been in private practice mental health counseling since June, 2014.
Specialties: He has a passion for treating children struggling with behavioral and emotional problems, have experienced trauma, or working through grief as well as working with the family unit. He also has training in treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders and addictions. Therapy is provided from a variety of treatment modalities including client centered, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and faith integration at client's desire.

Experience- previously worked in Ohio as an intern as a substance abuse counselor and certified in PRI. Then worked in Atlanta, Georgia for six months doing anger management, forensic assessments, family violence, substance abuse classes, parenting classes, and mental health assessments for the courts and clients. Then worked in Indiana for 2 years with Children with behavioral issues, family issues, substance abuse concerns, and with family units on functioning and reducing risk within the legal system. currently working with people who have previous or current felony charge on various cognitive deficits, substance misuse concerns, family concerns, mental health concerns, and reducing recidivism risks.
Specialties- trained in various modalities including play therapy, cognitive behavioral interventions, Prime For Life -substance abuse counseling and most recently Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Passions are working with clients with personality disorders, adults and children with behavioral or emotional issues and previous traumas and anger management/family violence/emotional coping skills.

Education and Training: Chuck completed a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family, from Saint Francis (College) University. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts degree from Olivet Nazarene (College) University with a major in religion.
Licensure: Chuck is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Indiana and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio.
Experience: Chuck has been a mental health counselor since 1991 following the completion of his degree. He had a full time practice with Charter Behavioral Health in Defiance, OH, until August of 2000. For the past four plus years he has been working at Parkview Behavioral in the Partial Hospitalization Program. While continuing to work at Parkview, during the past year he has been developing a private practice with Wieland and Associates. In April of 2005 his private practice will be full time. Prior to becoming a counselor, Chuck was a full time minister for about 18 years. He is married and has raised three children to become successful adults.
Specialties: Chuck enjoys working with people of all ages with depression and anxiety disorders. He has a lot of experience working with adults who were victims of physical or sexual abuse and has a special interest in men with past history of abuse. His experience also includes diagnosing and treating Bipolar disorder and Schizoaffective disorder. Chuck particularly enjoys doing marital and premarital counseling. With his experience as a minister, if needed, spiritual issues can be addressed as a part of the counseling process.
Chuck also enjoys presenting seminars on marriage and family issues, stress management and conflict resolution.

Specialties: She treats teens and adults who suffer with anxiety, depression, bulimia, compulsive over-eating, emotional, physical, sexual abuse, and spiritual issues.
